So as everyone knows by now, Beth and I have a cat named Ezra.
Heās 4 years old⦠and heās a tabby.
And Ezra is something.
The Personality That Makes No Sense (But Works)
He is somehow both the grumpiest and the happiest cat at the same time.
And it works.
If you came over to our house, youād probably say:
āWhat a fantastic and loving cat you have!!ā š
No.
No you wouldnāt.
Youād think heās mean⦠and plotting something.
But Behind Closed Doorsā¦
When itās just me and Beth?
Completely different animal.
Heās:
Super loving Always purring Constantly following one of us around (Usually Beth⦠letās be honest)
At night, when weāre winding down, heās always on her blanket.
Just curled up⦠content⦠like a big baby.
This Morningā¦
Weāve got company staying over.
So naturallyā¦
Ezra has entered full security mode.
I woke up early for work before anyone else.
Started looking around for himā¦
And there he wasā
Perched just outside our bedroom.
Guarding.
Watching.
Protecting.
Like a 10-pound bodyguard on duty.
Letās Be Real
This little ball of fur really thinks heās a badass.
And honestly?
I respect it.
The Truth About Ezra
Heās:
Super mean Super loving And somehow both at the exact same time
And the best part?
Beth and I might be the only two people in the world who get to see that softer side.
And I wouldnāt have it any other way.
