7-Day Reset: Day 5 – Not Every Day Has to Be Extreme

Day 5.

Nothing crazy today.

And honestly… that’s exactly what this needed.

A Normal Day (And That Matters)

Today was just a normal 8-hour shift.

No chaos. No double. No excuses.

I stuck to my routine:

Morning coffee and small snack with my meds Stayed on track through the day No grabbing random junk

Just doing what I’m supposed to do.

And that’s something I used to overlook.

Tired… But I Still Did Something

When I got home, I was a little tired.

Not exhausted.

Not wiped out.

Just that end-of-a-workday tired.

Old me?

Probably would’ve skipped it

Told myself I’d hit it hard tomorrow

But I’m not doing that this time.

So I got on the treadmill and did:

30 minutes of interval walking

And I’m not gonna lie…

It wasn’t easy.

But it got done.

The 30-Minute Interval Walk I Did

Since I wasn’t at 100%, I kept it simple—but effective.

Here’s exactly what I did:

30-Minute Fat Burning Treadmill Workout

Goal: Burn fat, stay consistent, don’t overdo it.

How It Felt

Sweaty, but controlled Breathing up, but steady Legs working without beating up my joints

Exactly what I needed today.

Why Today Was Actually a Win

Here’s the truth…

Not every day needs to be all-out.

Today wasn’t about crushing a 60-minute workout.

It was about:

Staying consistent Doing something instead of nothing Keeping the routine alive

Because that’s how this actually works.

Setting Up The Next Two Days

I’ve got the next two days off.

Those are my hard days.

Weights. Longer walks. Pushing it.

So today?

This was intentional.

I pulled it back just enough to:

Stay in the groove Not burn out Be ready to go hard tomorrow

That’s something I’ve never been good at before.

It’s always been, all in or nothing.

No middle.

I’m learning the middle matters.
